No Service at Windward Buddhist Temple on Sunday, March 31. Join us at the Taste of Hongwanji at Hawaii Betsuin.

Hawaii Betsuin's highly anticipated Taste of Hongwanji & Spring Bazaar is two events in one: an "ono-kine" food festival and a giant rummage and clothing sale.

FOOD

Come hungry for ono foods such as beef stew, daikon sparerib soup, fried noodles, edamame (soy beans), teri burgers, KC Waffle Dogs, shave ice, baked goods, and specialty items from our sister temples, Moiliili Hongwanji and Windward Buddhist Temple.

Presale tickets for chicken and sushi rolls available now through the Hawaii Betsuin office. Hoku BBQ Chicken – $12 per whole chicken; Maki Sushi (KYM) – $6.50 per roll.

Bonus: Nishime from Pacific Buddhist Academy to go with our Centennial Celebration theme.

RUMMAGE AND CLOTHING SALE

A rummage sale so big it needs two temple halls! Find a wide array of low-priced, gently-used items including men's, women's, and children's clothing, accessories, jewelry, framed art, Japanese art and collectibles, electrical appliances, housewares and dishware, toys and games, sporting goods, bedding, fabric, yarn, crafted items, and much more!
