Note that the start time is 10 a.m. There will be a short service at 10 a.m. for those who want to offer incense and partake of tea or coffee. Temple will be open until noon.

Rev. Sumikawa will be at the temple on New Year’s Eve from 4 to 6pm. You may come by to hit the kansho (bell), offer incense, and have some tea.

Dinner: 5:30 p.m.

Movie: 6:15 p.m.

Dinner followed by the showing of the animated movie "ZOOTOPIA" at 6:00 p.m. Zootopia is not only enjoyable as an animated comedy, but also delivers messages pertinent to the current state of the world including the dangers of stereotypes and prejudices. The move also shows us the importance of embracing change.
